After a long day of travel on Wednesday, were up early Thursday morning to visit the Huazhou Welfare Institution (KaiLi's orphanage). It was a meaningful day, but a day full of contrasting emotions for me (Beth). Our family wanted to get something for the orphanage that they needed. After a discussion with our guide, we determined that they could use a water filter system. So, we headed to the local store to purchase the item. This wasn't an easy process. We eventually settled on a water filter system and a few oscillating fans. KaiLi was so excited about being able to give a gift to her orphanage. We are truly blessed with so much and it is a joy to give to others who have need.
