Unfortunately, there are still not enough resources to provide adequate care for all the children in the home. I was grateful KaiLi got to see where she lived before she joined our family. I was happy that she got to share in giving to them, but I was deeply saddened that we were not able to do more, and was even more saddened that the conditions did not seem to improve over the last seven years. We wanted to do more, but didn't have the opportunity. Additionally, what we saw as needs--nicer clothes, shoes, more nutritional food, toys, pictures to brighten the rooms, rocking chairs, music, etc., are not always seen as the priorities.

Beth, there are just not words to say. Your post today made me remember Caleb's former home. We are blessed to have our children aren't we.
